Treating Psoriasis without Side Effects
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder and like many others such disorder research is still continuing. What we do know is that the immune system is in these cases out of control and the trick is to guide the immune system back into its correct functions.

The immune system is the body's main defense against infections and produces a number of cells to fight off bacteria and infections. One of these cells are called macrophage. These are scavenger cells which are responsible for destroying bacteria and viruses that can harm the body. Then there are B lymphocytes which defeat foreign cells in the blood stream before they have infiltrated cell tissue. T lymphocytes attack foreign invaders within those cells that already have become infected.
Not much is known as to what triggers the immune system to malfunction but what is understood is what happens in the case of each autoimmune disorder.
With Psoriasis the T lymphocytes releases cytokines which tell the skin cells to reproduce and mature at an accelerated rate (it takes 28 days for normal skin to turn over a new set of cells while in psoriasis the rate is three or four days) and they set off other reactions, including the activation of additional T cells and the "recruiting" of T cells into the skin. Remember that T cell attack cells which it identifies as infected cells - that accelerated rate of skin cell reproduction activates T cells to begin attacking the skin cells this leads to Psoriasis lesions forming on the skin's surface.
Macrophage are activated to help in the clean up process and an aggressive cell clean up program begins which does not distinguish between healthy and damaged cells. This stimulates more macrophage activity which in turn activates more T-cells. Because T-cells does not limit macrophage activity to damaged cells only, destruction of health cells also occur. This develops into a destructive autoimmune process. The cycle is compounded by the fact that the mechanism which should deactivate certain T-cells (those that have completed their mission) fails to function. The constant re-stimulation of the T-cells keep them active. So now there is an overabundance of T-cells propelling macrophage cartilage destruction.
This disease can be consuming. the ugliness of the patches, the chronic itching and flaking, although not life threatening, impact the self-esteem and life style of the psoriasis victim.

The alkylglyceorls found in ALKOXYROL
Shark
Liver Oil works as an immunomodulator and booster.
Alkylglycerols changes the membranes of the macrophage allowing them to
produce interleukins. Interleukins are released and turn on other
cells. In this case uncontrollable cell growth of macrophages, T
cell and cytokines. A dosage of one or two 500 mg capsules of
Alkoxyrol Shark Liver Oil three times a day is an effective dose.
this can be reduced as symptoms improve.
