Dr. Trinidade has trained as Senior House Officer at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough Berkshire 1977-1978; Royal Postgraduate Medical School 1978 and North Devon District Hospital 1979-1980.  He has  held the position of Secretary (1984) and Chairman (1985) of the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Association (Southern Branch).  He has also held the office of President (1989) and P.R.P. (1994) of the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Association.

He is presently the Medical Chief of Staff at the San Fernando General Hospital. He is a lecturer at the School of Dentistry, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex and the School of Nursing, National Institute of Higher Educations, Research, Science and Techology (NIHERST).

His various publications include :-

1. Epidemiology of Otitis Media in an Ethnically Mixed Island Population 1987

Dr. Trinidade has received several awards: Trinidad and Tobago Medical Association (Honour Scroll -1996). Biographee in International Dictionary of Biograph (I.B.S.) Oxford (1994) and Trinidad and Tobago Association in Aid of Deaf (Distinguished Service 1992)
